Millermeade Farm’s Critter Connection Learning Center is located in a mile off the Ohio Turnpike (I80/90), just 13 miles East of the Indiana state line and seven miles South of the Michigan line.

Many of our hedgehog and sugar glider customers come from all over Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana.  Below are driving times to help you decide how far you are away from your new sugar glider or hedgehog.  We hope that you find we are worth the drive!

Driving Directions to our Facility

Michigan Ann Arbor - 1 hour 45 min. Detroit  - 1 hour 45 min. Lansing – 1 hour 45 min.

 

Illinois Chicago – 3 hours

 

Indiana Ft. Wayne – 1 hour Indianapolis – 3 hours

 

Kentucky Lexington – 5 hours

Ohio Columbus – 3 hours Springfield – 3 hours Toledo – 1 hour Cincinnati – 3 hours 30 min. Cleveland  - 2 hours 30 min. Dayton – 2 hours 45 min.

Pennsylvania Pittsburgh – 4.5 to 5 hours

Warning for TomTom and other GPS users: We have found that many of customers get lost by using their personal navigation devices. We live on State Route 15 which also coincides with US20A for a short period of time. Many GPS units are confused by this and/or direct you to to County Road 15 which runs parallel to us one mile to the East. Please consider using the directions above and using your GPS as a back up. The Learning Center address for TomTom users may need to be 12725 US 20A

From the East (Toledo/Cleveland)

  • Take the Ohio Turnpike (I80/90) West to Exit 13/2, which is the Montpelier/ Bryan Exit.
  • The exit used to be numbered Exit 2 but they are switching the numbers to the mile marker numbers at some point so now it is both!
  • Head South on St. Rt. 15 about 1 mile. 
  • You will pass the Ramada Inn, Econolodge, Holiday Inn Express, gas stations, and small restaurants. 
  • You will cross a set of Rail Road tracks. 
  • The Coffee Basket Restaurant is immediately to your right and the shop is the very next building.
  • It is a large tan pole building with two offices/shops in the front.
  • If you arrive early (or really late) and we aren’t at the shop our house is the farm house on the left just a little South of the shop.

From the North (Lansing/Jackson)

  • Take I69 South to the Indian Toll road I80/90.
  • Take I80/90 East into Ohio (You will need about $1.00 for the tolls each way!)
  • Take the Ohio Turnpike (I80/90) East to Exit 13/2 which is the Montpelier/ Bryan Exit. 
  • The exit used to be numbered Exit 2 but they are switching the numbers to the mile marker numbers at some point so now it is both! 
  • Head South on St. Rt. 15 about 1 mile.

From the South  (Lima / Dayton)

  • Take 75 North to Blue Lick Road Exit (North of Lima)
  • Turn L and head West on Blue Lick Road Continue on Blue Lick Road a couple of miles through a stop sign and a rail road tracks until you get to a traffic light which is 65/115.
  • Turn Right at the traffic light on 65/115 North In about a mile the 65/115 will split, stay on 115 at the Y.
  • Take 115 until it dead ends on to St. Rt. 15 North. 
  • Turn left onto St. Rt. 15. (You will go through the town of Kalida where you will have to make a couple of jogs so follow the signs).
  • Follow Rt. 15 all the way North (You will have to make several jogs in the town of Defiance so follow the signs) About a half hour North of Defiance is Bryan. We are about 10 miles North of Bryan.
  • Ten miles North of Bryan is a traffic light at the intersection of 20A/107. There is a gas station, a trucking company and a used car dealership on the corner.
  • Go through the light and about .75 mile down the road on the left is a large tan pole building with two shops/offices in the front.
  • If you get to the Coffee Basket Restaurant by the tracks you have gone too far.
  • If you arrive early (or really late) and we aren’t at the shop our house is the farm house on the left just a little South of the shop (heading back toward the traffic light).

From the South (Columbus)

  • Take US 23 North through Delaware and past Marion.
  • 23N will turn into St. Rt. 15
  • Take I 75 North at Findlay
  • Follow 75N to US 6 (close to Bowling Green)
  • Take 6 West past Napoleon. US 6 and 24 are the same for some time but US 24 will eventually continue straight to Defiance and US 6 will veer to the right. Make sure you stay on US6.
  • Stay on US 6 through Ridgeville Corners. West of Ridgeville Corners St. Rt. 34 will veer off to the right by an Ice Cream Stand.
  • Take 34 into Bryan to the intersection of St. Rt. 15
  • Turn right (North) onto St. Rt. 15 and continue North about 10 miles.
  • Ten miles North of Bryan is a traffic light at the intersection of 20A/107. There is a gas station, a trucking company and a used car dealership on the corner.
  • Go through the light and about .75 mile down the road on the left is a large tan pole building with two shops/offices in the front.
  • If you get to the Coffee Basket Restaurant by the tracks you have gone too far.
  • If you arrive early (or really late) and we aren’t at the shop our house is the farm house on the left just a little South of the shop (heading back toward the traffic light).
ALTERNATE: (slightly more miles but better driving and faster in bad weather and easier for the directionally challenged).
  • Take US 23 North through Delaware and past Marion.
  • 23N will turn into St. Rt. 15.
  • Take I 75 North at Findlay.
  • Follow I75 North to the Ohio Turpike I80/90.

  • Take I69 to US 6 East.
  • Follow US 6 though Butler, IN, and into OH.  Follow through the town of Edgerton.
  • Several miles East of Edgerton (maybe 10) there is a traffic light.
  • Turn Left at the light and it will take you into the town of Bryan
  • Turn left (North) on to St. Rt. 15 .
  • Ten miles North of Bryan is a traffic light at the intersection of 20A/107.
  • There is a gas station, a trucking company and a used car dealership on the corner.
  • Go through the light and about .75 mile down the road on the left is a large tan pole building with two shops/offices in the front.
